At its mouth into the Rhine, the Töss carries in bedload, which leads to slow silting up and impairs Rhine navigation at the landing stage. By moving and extending the jetty and boathouse, a slow, natural delta formation is made possible and a landing stage for a future bicycle ferry is created. Visitors reach the river via curved seating steps. The shore area, which is actively used as a bathing spot, is separated from the protected natural area by plantings and firewood piles.
