The Zentrumspark Dielsdorf area has qualities both in terms of building development and existing open spaces, from which a diverse picture of future identities can be developed. The historic development took place along the streets, creating high-quality spaces in places that contribute a great deal to the identity of Dielsdorf. In contrast, the space inside the perimeter, which has become increasingly filled with individual buildings over the last 20 years, is largely undefined. A large contiguous green space, the Pärkli, is recognisable and, in combination with high-quality street spaces, represents a great opportunity for future development.
The aim of the present draft is to sharpen the existing qualities and, based on them, to derive rules so that in the years to come the overall picture typical of the place can be created of a diverse central development that has emerged from history and which unites individual but coordinated sub-areas around the Pärkli. The proposed neighbourhood maps for the sub-areas within the Centre Park are correspondingly diverse.
