Center development Zurich Affoltern

In a participatory and collaborative process, a model for the development of the centre in Zurich Affoltern was developed. A particular challenge was dealing with the very busy Wehntalerstrasse. In addition to a new central square, the concept envisages a series of new public places that are well linked to each other. The centre thus becomes more than a square and enables long-term densification and activation as the focal point of the growing quarter.
