Founder and partner, graduate engineer in architecture (TU Berlin) and doctor of science (ETH Zurich). Self-employed architect and urban planner since 2003, international project experience with KCAP Architects and Urban Planners, Rotterdam and Thomas Müller Ivan Reimann Architekten, Berlin. Many years of research and teaching experience at ETH Zurich, the University of Liechtenstein, the University of St. Gallen, the Technical University of Dresden and the University of Zurich (CUREM). National and international research projects, lectures and publications. Author of “Dutch New Worlds. Scenarios in Physical Planning and Design in the Netherlands, 1970-2000”, 010 Rotterdam, awarded the ETH Zurich Medal 2012 and the International Planning History Society IPHS book prize 2014, and co-author of “The Noise Landscape: A Spatial Exploration of Airports and Cities”, nai010 Rotterdam.
