Concept for public space in Sarmenstorf

Within the framework of the project ‘Focus on Public Spaces’, the municipalities and the cantonal administration are to be sensitised to the active maintenance and development of public spaces on behalf of the cantonal government of Aargau. The municipality of Sarmenstorf stands here as a model of a municipality in a rural context, whose historical substance is still felt and is confronted with the question of how to preserve these values in a constantly changing environment. The Vision 2040 shows a possible picture of Marktstrasse and is made up of a large number of individual measures. Central to this is that the vision is understood as a process in which the private and public sectors participate. The heart of the vision is the Lindenplatz, which is dealt with in detail.
